It was the year 2008 when I was invited by a musician to a Christian gathering that I haven't heard of. He only said, "C'mon, it's different". I'm the usual go-with-the-flow type. If it's hip, if my friends love it, why can't I?

It was my first MOF Musicians on Fire event. It was crowded and yes, different. Let me put it this way, the crowd was mixed of mohalk, two by three, jeans, suits, converse and leather shoes. Everything was diverse and I loved it.

Musicians on Fire started the year 2003. Founded by Franklin Benitez who was proclaimed pastor year 2009. His idea was to reach out to musicians and slowly shared his insights about the kingdom. Soon after, first few members joined; Glenn Isaguirre, Rene Mendoza, Sherwin Felias, Arnold Pacis, John Lopez Angeles, Elmer Sandig, Edmund Pelingon, Michael Gural, Apol Laroco, Erick Totanes, Roi Buenviaje and many others. 

 

MOF, sprouting from Quezon City to Baguio, Cebu to Bacolod, Laguna to Puerto Gallera, Singapore to Los Angeles, elsewhere! It was a ravage spread, a success.

This 27th of August, MOF is launching their first much-awaited album. Artists from Los Angeles and well-known musicians of our country contributed to make Album 2010 happen.
